Enrich has being shortlisted for the Green Awards 2010. We entered our sustainable horticulture products. Awards will be held in December

Description of Enrich Environmental Ltd.
Enrich Environmental Ltd. is the leading manufacture of sustainable horticultural products in Ireland. We offer the most cost effective and sustainable solution to managing this wide practice.
At Enrich we believe that the full benefits of recycling can only be attained if the resulting product is used in an ecologically beneficial manner. The concept of closed loop recycling is central to Enrich’s product development.

Sourcing the material
The products are entirely made from composted green garden material (trees, branches, grass, etc). This material is collected separately from recycling centres by County Councils and by our own collection service.

The composting facility in Kilcock, Co. Meath. Since commencing activities in 2003, Enrich Environmental Ltd. has diverted green garden material from landfill. Organic material in landfill releases harmful methane gas into the atmosphere, this contributes to global warming.
In conjunction with the National strategy on Biodegradable Waste, Enrich Environmental Ltd. hope to further develop similar compost facilities throughout Ireland. These expansion measures will ensure Ireland achieves it target for operational capacity to treat source separated garden waste by composting.
