The facility is surrounded by a native ash woodland in Kilcock, Co. Meath. It is a purpose built composting site. It has being designed and built to the specifications required to process material efficiently and to eliminate negative environmental impacts.

The surrounding woodland provides a habitat for an abundance of flora and fauna. A recent project to increase the song bird population around the facility has been very successful with 8 out of 10 purpose built nesting boxes now occupied. The facility also provides a home to endangered bats whom provide natural pest control and eliminate the need to use pesticides.

Botanical residues such as grass, trees and shrub cuttings from professional landscapers, tree surgeons and from parks and amenity areas are gathered on the facility until shredding. Shredding of the material accelerates the composing process. A minimum of 90 days is needed from shredding to the processing of the finished product. This allows the compost to mature and become stable for all the various applications. Heat generated during the composting process kills all pathogens and weed seeds.
Processing of the finished product
The facility has a purpose built trommel screening plant that can process all our finished products.

Enrich use a Doppstadt-518 to grade finish products. Screen sizes of 8mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm 25mm 30mm can be used to create different products sizes. Products can be made to suit specifications of individual customers and the project and can be delivered in bulk or bagged or collected from the facility.
A 3,000 cubic meter capacity storage unit has being constructed to house various products. This will ensure that Enrich will have available products for last minute orders.
