Sustainability Mission Ireland is at the heart of Enrich’s work. Our natural world is under increasing pressure from climate change, pollution, soil degradation and the continued consumption of finite raw materials.

We believe practical solutions already exist. By recovering organic resources, producing peat-free composts, developing engineered soils and supporting circular-economy infrastructure, Enrich works to reduce waste and return valuable materials to productive use.

Protecting Peatlands

Peatlands are important natural carbon stores and valuable habitats. When peatlands are damaged or drained, stored carbon can be released back into the atmosphere.

Enrich produces peat-free compost from recycled garden material, providing an alternative to products that depend on peat extraction.

Increasing the use of high-quality peat-free growing media can help reduce pressure on peatland habitats while returning recycled organic material to soils and gardens in a useful form.
